Cisco Anyconnect Network Service Unavailable

I had this problem too in Windows 7. To resolve I did the following: Go to Start - Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - Manage Wireless Networks - Adapter Properties. Here ensure that 'Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager Filter Driver' is ticked. Symptom: The Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager service is not running after rebooting the PC. Conditions: This issue can occur on machines that have Cisco NAM version 4.9. The problem occurs when an EAP-FAST connection completes authentication succesfully but the overall EAP status is a failure (typically because of authz policy). Solved: Greetings, Running into an issue with AnyConnect constantly reconnecting to wireless. I have ISE set to recheck posture every 7 days and this started popping up after the WLC's were updated to 8.2.110.0. Go to Start-Programs-Cisco-Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client to launch the program. Enter vpn.uci.edu in the Ready to Connect to field, then press the Connect button. Select your desired connection profile from the Group drop-down menu: UCIFULL – Route all traffic through the UCI VPN.

When attempting to install the VPN client on Windows, the following error message may result: 'The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.' A dialog box is presented for specifying a different location.

This error can be the result of incorrect registry clean up from a previous version of the AnyConnect software being installed.

Microsoft has released a Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter that can look for problems in the registry and correct them, allowing the next installation to succeed. To use this tool to attempt a fix:
  1. Download the application linked above from the Microsoft support website.
  2. Launch the application
  3. When you launch it, it will ask if you are having a problem with installation on uninstallation. Click installation.
  4. It will present you with a list of things you might be having problems with. Find 'Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client' in the list and select it.
  5. After a bit it should say it has fixed the problem.
  6. Exit out of the application following it's instructions.
  7. Run the AnyConnect installer and let it install the VPN software.
